How to add or edit a newsletter Signup Form
You can add a Sign Up Form to any page or blog post within uSkinned Site Builder for Umbraco. In a matter of seconds, you can start collecting email addresses that go directly to your subscriber lists in either Campaign Monitor or MailChimp.
uSkinned Site Builder for Umbraco comes with a variety of form types out of the box. These include Contact Form, Newsletter Signup Form, Umbraco Forms Compatible Option, Login Form, Reset Password Request Form, Reset Password Form and Register Form.
You can even use Third-party form providers, such as Hubspot, ActiveCampaign, Typeform and more. Learn how to integrate any Form provider with uSkinned Site Builder.
Step 1
Login to the CMS.
Step 2
In the tree menu on the left, go to (or create) a page or blog post.
Step 3
On the 'Content' tab, scroll to 'Main Content'.
Step 4
Click the 'Add content' button.
Step 5
From the slide-out panel, select the component 'Form'.
Step 6
At the label 'Form type', select 'Sign Up Form'.
Step 7
You can choose to show only the email address form here by selecting yes, otherwise, your form will collect First name, Last name and Email address.
Step 8
Here you can add:
- Heading
- Secondary Heading
- Introduction copy
- Button text
- Submission message
- We would recommend you add content here, this will let your users know they have submitted successfully.
- Subscriber list ID
- You can hook this up to a specific Subscriber List with one of our out of the box integrations with Mail Chimp or Campaign Monitor. If you leave this blank, it will fall back to the default List in your Global Settings.
Step 9
In the bottom right, hit 'Submit'.
Step 10
'Save and Publish' your page or blog post.
Your new 'Sign Up Form' is now available on your website.
