How to add or edit a Login Form for members

You can add a Login Form to any page or blog post within uSkinned Site Builder for Umbraco.

A Login Form is directly related to your own website Membership. Before creating your Login Form you should probably create a Registration Form. The Registration Form will allow your users to sign up and create an account on your website.

Step 1

Login to the CMS.

Step 2

In the tree menu on the left, go to (or create) a page or blog post.

Step 3

On the 'Content' tab, scroll to 'Main Content'.

Step 4

Click the 'Add content' button.

Step 5

From the slide-out panel, select the component 'Form'.

Step 6

At the label 'Form type', select 'Login Form'.

Step 7

Choose a password-protected 'Login success page'.

Step 8

Choose a 'Reset password request page'. This should not be password-protected, as it is the page a user will need to access if they have lost their login details.

Step 9

Here you can add:

  • Heading
  • Secondary Heading
  • Introduction copy
  • Button text

Step 9

In the bottom right, hit 'Submit'.

Step 10

'Save and Publish' your page or blog post.

Your new 'Login Form' is now available on your website. Users can now log in to your website and start accessing password-protected content specific to them.
